HR Compliance

Your assigned Compliance Specialist is responsible and accountable for the following:

Compliance Specialist
  • Ensure full compliance with all HR laws and mandates
  • Create and maintain employee handbook for all U.S. states
  • Maintain and distribute all Federal, State and Local Notices & Disclosures to employees
  • Ensure all Federal & State government filings are completed, including EEO-1
  • Provide and track all mandated employee trainings
  • Annual audits of I-9 and FLSA compliance
  • Track & communicate relevant HR legislation
Leave Administration

Leave of Absence Administration

Your assigned Leave Specialist is responsible and accountable for the following:

Leave Specialist
  • Review & process all new leave requests
  • Communicate directly with employees and managers regarding leave details
  • Recommendation of approval/denial of leave requests to employer contact
  • Prepare all required leave documentation
  • Review leave documents with employees and assist them with understanding the leave rules and requirements
  • Complete claim forms when applicable
  • Manage all required employee communications and provide support to employees on leave
  • Track all active leaves and schedule follow up activities where applicable
  • Communicate with employee, manager, and payroll for return to work

Employee Relations Support

Your assigned People Ops Coordinator & People Ops Leader are responsible and accountable for the following:

  • Provide managers with guidance on addressing and documenting poor performance and absenteeism, including creating and implementing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
  • Provide managers with guidance on addressing behavioral issues and misconduct, including creating and implementing Behavior Improvement Plans (BIPs)
  • Advise client contacts on impact of FMLA and ADA on absenteeism and performance
  • Provide client contacts with guidance on complying with various state Sick Leave laws
  • Provide client contacts with guidance and support with Reduction in Force / Lay-offs / Furloughs
  • Advise and assist client contacts with company policy interpretation and enforcement
